Finale For me this was the absolute best Idol Finale EVER! Great job Idol producers! CONGRATS LEE DeWYZE!!!
Top 2 Based on tonight’s performances only, Crystal wins each round and should technically win the competition. This is going to be an extremely exciting finale because I really don’t know who will win. It is honestly a 50/50 chance for either.
The last couple of seasons the under dog has won and the most consistent and popular contestant has won 2nd place: Season 7 – David Archuletta and Season 8 – Adam Lambert. Will that trend continue? I don’t think anyone can predict it this year. I can’t wait!
Top 3 Two performances each, their choice and the judges choice. Simon and Ellen did excellent jobs for Lee and Crystal with their selections. Lee and Crystal for the finale!!!!
Top 4 The music of the movies had some disappointments and some great highlights... I firmly believe Lee and Crystal will be in the top 3... The duets just blasted every other performance.
Top 5 The music of Frank Sinatra... This genre has always been a make it or break it for several contestants over the years. This season it really made one contestant fail. Will they be the one going home? We will see tomorrow...
Top 6 Country week sure wasn't as country as one would think. There was actually not one bad performance tonight. All were good to excellent. This week there is a new leader... Very sad to see Siobian eliminated...
Top 7 Another good performance week for Idol. It really looks like it is going to be a Crystal vs Lee finale but most did pretty good tonight. I just wish the judges wern't so hard on Siobian...
Top 9 The music of Elvis proved to be one of the very best shows I have seen since I started watching Idol. This was an awesome night. It will be sad to see TWO people leave tomorrow...
Top 9 The music of Lennon & McCartney shows that good songs never die. This was another good week of Idol and I was quite pleased with most of the results, but not pleased with some of the judges comments...but that's Idol!
Top 10 R&B proved to be a much better night for the contestants. Only 3 songs were done on previous shows which means we were treated to some new song selections! Tonight there were two 10's, unlike none for last week.
Top 11 Billboard Number Ones week is upon us and honestly, I am not impressed. There has to be a way to get the producers to allow someone to mentor song suggestions for the contestants. The contestants don't have to use the suggestions but it would help limit the amount of train wrecks... Tonight was not that good...
Top 12 Rolling Stones week is here and it was a mixed amount of performances. A couple really good ones and a couple really bad ones. The rest were just ok. We'll see who goes home...
Top 16 Well the Boys beat the Girls this week. Shocking results. Very sad that Katelyn Epperly, Todrick Hall and Alex Lambert go home. Not so for Lilly Scott, I was not a big fan of hers. Very interesting Top 12...
Top 20 I can't say I disagree with the 4 contestants that left this week but wished Michelle would have been given one more week. I really liked her. Goodbye to Haeley Vaughn, Michelle Delamor, Jermaine Sellars and John Park.
Top 24 A sad sad goodbye to Ashley Rodriguez and Janell Wheeler for the girls... A surprising early exit for Joe Munoz and Tyler Grady for the boys... One just never knows how things will turn out...
